Are you suggesting Obama is the first President to put his feet on the furniture? Or is your agenda showing?

harrumph! I'm eating dog food and stale ritz crackers, whilst that monster languishes in new digs. What a hypocrite! We're supposed to buckle our belts tighter, and he gets an office make over whilst vacationing in New England!

No tax payer dollars funded the make-over. READ the story before opening mouth.

What new digs? He living/working in a 210 year old building on a 130 year old desk. You can't pull a belt much tighter than that.

He's been patching holes in USS Bush for going on 2 years now.

It's a marvel that he's been able to keep it afloat, considering its condition when he came aboard.

The desk is made from timbers salvaged fromHMS Resolute. It was a gift from Britain to the USA. The US had salvaged HMS Resolute, rehabed her the gave her back to Britain. At the time it was so unexpected and tensions were so high during the Pierce Admi. that a 3rd war was expected to break out between our two nations. For that uncouth communist ghetto rat to use it as a footstool just shows how little class or knowledge it has. It is nothing more than a selfish dung heap. Impeachment 2011!

Guess what? I searched Yahoo images and found official White House photographs of George Bush and Gerald Ford with their feet on Oval Office desks too. Bush was using the same desk that Obama used for a foot stool. Guess President Barack H. Obama is just following a Presidential tradition. Get a clue in 2010!

"In the old rug's place is one by Scott Group of Grand Rapids, Mich., made of 25 percent recycled wool in tones of wheat, cream and blue.
It features the presidential seal in the center and quotes from some of the leaders that Obama admires most: Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Theodore Roosevelt. In that order, the quotes are: "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"; "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice"; "Government of the people, by the people, for the people"; "No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings"; and "The welfare of each of us is dependent fundamentally upon the welfare of all of us."

Gawd. In the Oval Office? That sounds pathetic and tasteless...like those office wall posters that give "inspirational" messages.

Keep on redecorating and vacationing, Mr. Obama! The country seems to function alot better when you stop doing anything.

Say, Christmas is just around the corner. Maybe get some trees in there and hang a few ornaments?
