I am glad that music that has a true message can be acknowledged as such. 25 years ago, hip-hop muscic had something to say and there are a few out there that still do. Remember, Rock and Roll is American and believe or not, hip-hop and rap music are as American as apple pie and McDonald's french fries!

There’s a great video with KRS-One on SF Iam. One of the pioneer in rap, and hip-hop, back in the day with it was called “the jam.” KRS-One tells it like it is to a group of students at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
