I think great rap is entertaining and THOUGHT provoking--- KRS-ONE did this back in the day with "Edutainment"-- This year, he's doing it again-- w/ an album featuring himslf, Greenie, and others --entitled "It's All Good"-- the album has songs accusing the U.S. Government of terrorism, exploring ways to get women to sign prenuptial agreements, arguing that everything "bad" that happens to us is really "all good"--and more..

not every1 can sing perfectly....but some can rap perfectly.....rap invites a whole new group of people to explore themselves ad express themselves through music and release some emotion negative or positive
