Helmet In The Bush

This is one of the best Korn songs ever. Who else love's this song? The riffs are great, the drums are great, and the lyrics are very personal about (I'd say drug abuse) and the song is just a beast. I have no idea what Davis is saying at the very end but I want to know. Yea, I'm pretty sure its about speed or meth. Thats why its called Helmet In The Bush. Speed make's your junk shrink. So it looks just like a "helmet" in your bush (pubic hair). This song and the song Fake are some of the best songs on their first album. "Please god help me, please god save me, please god save me, from my painful situation". Amazing song.

he's growling or i cant remember what the term he uses for it, but the last verse is what he is saying - if you listen really carefully.

Oh, yea I did hear what he was saying. Something like "pleas god don't let me give in come on don't let me die plese god don't let me in come on don't let me die....." I had always thought it was just gibberish. You taught me something new koRnspaWn. Thanks.

Well, usually I could get on here and comment when I was waaaaaay too drunk. I'm not an angry drunk, but I would get like incredibly drunk and just be a straigh up a*shole. I'm really not a mean guy. Well, honestly I don't blame you for calling me an a*shole for being how I was before. I mean that IS how I acted. I still drink somewhat, just not like a pint of Vodka, and then get on and leave messages.

Man(actually you're a woman I think), so woman lol, I was watchin' that old ass video of Korn performing Layla live. That video will never ever get old. Everyone in it looks like they're 18-22 (especially David). The song is so badass, especially live. If you've never seen it, go on Youtube and just type in Korn Layla Live or some shit like that. Hey have you heard the koRn version of Metallicas 'One'?
they do a pretty awesome go of it. its on the 'Live & Rare' album.....and live version of 'my gift to you ' aint half bad either.

U guys should check out Love song live.....I do like the cd version but his voice is a lil to whiny in the chorus..... The live version sounds awesome.

i listen to all their albums, i have loaded on my mp3. have all their albums but not any demos. ill keep looking on utube. there seems to be plenty of korns stuff there.

They used some of the riffs of Layla in Ball Tongue. I was really disappointed with the cover of One. I mean the song itself is around the 8 minute mark and Korn made it like 3 or 4 minute's. They cut out ALOT of the song. But what they did play sounded ok. It just sounds weird cause Korn tune sooo low and Metallica are tuned to standard.
