>>"Cameron says that he and like-minded activists plan to deliver 50,000 copies of an altered version of Darwin's book to students at dozens of U.S. universities."

I wonder how legal that is?

It's legal since the copyright has long since expired.
In spite of the editions intent and the fact that the chapters on evolution have been left out, book burning is frowned upon.
There is the possibility that the book be banned, as is still done in some states.
Hopefully they will all end up at Oral Roberts, BYU, etc.

That little twerp! That Left Behind movie really went to his head. I wonder if he would have agreed to do one if he knew what Tim LeHaye claimed in his so-called "nonfiction" book Revelation Unveiled. On page 149, LeHaye claims "regarding the 144,000...There is not a Gentile among them..." I found it quite funny that so many Christians can't get enough of the books and movies of a man who has clearly stated that not one of them will be taken to heaven! They will all be "Left Behind," according to him. I noticed he didn't cite this book on his guest spots on tv.

I wasn't thinking of the copyright, I was thinking about creationist propaganda being promoted at US universities.

Due to free speech, that isn't illegal, as long as it is being presented as part of a public forum and not dictated by a state sponsored school.
