I personally think that we all ought to boycott the airlines until they learn how to treat people decently. It's bad enough that we have to tolerate the TSA hanging around, never knowing when they are going to demand to see us naked. I can't take the pickiness, and have found that going between Amtrak and Greyhound is good enough for me.

This wouldn't happen at the Woodford regional airport! No way! I'd pull my gun out and enforce the law, like I always do!

Yes sir, I'm the law in these parts!

Please vote for me next week.

I'm the guy whose name rhymes with "my pants are smelly".

I'm Mark y Mark and I ccomposed this message.

The elephant in the room (or on the airplane in this case) is that everyone should pay for what they get. If you pay less for a child because they're small, then you should pay more for someone who's huge. If I pay for a seat, I like to occupy it, not lose part of it to somebody who doesn't put in the time & hard work to keep from getting obese. And I don't think we should pay the same health care premiums either, since they're likely to use a lot more health services. It all comes down to the same thing, personal responsibility.

You'd love to discriminate against fat people wouldn't you? You seem very obsessed with it. Half of your posts rant against people being too fat and/or smoking. Personally, I think judgemental people like you should be banned from being in public. You're too grumpy, the rest of us just want to live our lives and get along.

we pay for shipping by the pound, seems to me our plane tickets should be the same. Thats baggage and person, total weight times rate. Overiszed bags are as big a problem as oversized people!

Interestingly, i heard silent bob yell, 400 lbs is not so fat that i have to be taken off a southwest flight...

400lbs is about twice the average.

embarrassment is not nice for anyone, but neither is being stuck in the middle seat.

Hmm, let me guess - You don't exercise, you don't restrain your food intake, and consequently you're fat.

That's up to you, none of my business. Unless you have health insurance or you don't have health insurance, in both cases you're expecting everyone else to help pay for the extra care you're going to need for your coronary condition or your diabetes or other fat-related disease. Do you really not understand why that bothers people who sweat and hurt and observe a decent diet to take care of themselves as they get older?

Oh, right - you're the one who didn't like my plan, and when I asked about your plan, you had absolutely nothing to say.

I have a job and pay 5000 dollars a year for health insurance. Personally, I had less than 100 dollars worth of medical related expenses last year. Can you say the same? In fact, I've only been to the doctor 3 times in the last 5 years. See, you're making judgements about me based on your own preconceived notions of people. I find it interesting that it's OK to make mean-spirited comments about fat people and Christians but everyone else is off limits. As for my weight, I'm in Weight Watchers and know how hard it is but yes, I eat healthy and exercise. I've never been on welfare, never collected unemployment, never had food stamps. And I've put one son through college and another is there now. Your a@@ doesn't pay anything for my upkeep. How much do I pay for yours?

The airlines have become abusive, period. I'm finding other ways to get around.

You have a scummy attitude. Have you ever thought of moving to Canada?

I'll chip in for the airplane ticket. Middle seat, between two fat smokers that don't have health insurance.
