Good for SouthWest Airlines. I am sick and tired of getting stuck next to som fat a** that thinks the world revolves around them. If you can get the arm rests down but can not see them in your fat it dosen't count. I paid for my seat and don't want to have to share it with some lard a**. By the way I'm 6'2" tall and 250 pounds. I have a 38" waist and fit in a coach seat. If you don't fit in a coach seat you are a heck of a lot bigger than 250 pounds.

I love being fat to where when I fly, the person next to me can smell my sweaty armpits and feel my oversized love handles. I do not care if they can sit comfortably. All you skinny people need to deal with it and get off your high horse. Next time I will sit on your and pass gas!!!

You my friend are a bigot, just as bad as a racist. People gain weight and remain large for various medical reasons such as endocrine gland dysfunctions, corticosteroid therapy, etc. They deserve clothes that fit, a seat on an airplane, and less ridicule by BIGOTS such as yourself. I hope you get sick and have to stay on Prednisone for a couple of years and put on a 100 pounds or so. It would serve your all knowing bigoted self right.
That's right I have weighted 110 pounds and went up to 1780 pounds after being on prednisone. Would I need to buy two tickets to fly...

Opps I meant 178 pounds not 1780.. Guess I would need three tickets in that case.

Nothing more enjoyable than being on a 4 hour flight where the person in the seat next to you mushrooms into part of your seat. After the no-smoking law goes into effect for our own good, how 'bout a twinkie law for our own good. You should pay for the seat space you use and not have me pay for your "excess" folding over onto my seat.

I'm sorry but I think it should be a wake up call.If he has to squeeze his fat behind into a seat.... he needs to lose some weight. No need to get pissed at the airlines for it. would you don't bitch at your doctor for telling you your over weight or the lifeguard at water parks who tell you the slide can't hold u at the water parks? No, because they are just doing their job. So was the airline pilot, they have regulations. I do believe they probably have them posted some where before purchasing a ticket. It's his fault he chose that life for himself.

When are people going to realize that not everyone can be a size 5. All the venues being built are being built to get as many as seats in them as possible. They are not made for comfort. I stopped going to ballgames, concerts and theaters because the seats are made for people who are a size 5, not the average person.
I'm 6' and 180lbs with a 34 inch waist. I can barely fit in the seats of most new venues for sporting and concert events. I fit, but it's the most uncomfortable 2-3 hours of my life. And who even came up with the idea of shared armrests? They just try to cram so many people into the venue it's a joke.
But I also agree it sucks when some super fatty virtually oozes into your chair when sitting next to you.

You must be a little wide yourself.
I pray for sake of humanity that that's not what you got out of this story. And I hope you do not have kids to pass that down to.
Nonetheless we are all standing, applauding the bravery in your comment.
But I'm black, so what I'll do is apply anyways so that you can turn me down, I'll call up the usual suspects, get some news coverage and sue the fat pants off of ya. I'll get the last laugh.
