Can't wait to see Clay Aiken, he has the most beautiful voice in the world. I love Clay, I am a claymate.

How great could she have been? I'm fairly certain Carly Simon has never played Asheville.
She's played here at least twice, once at the Biltmore venue, and at least once in the 70's, if I'm not mistaken.

I wonder how many of the concert goers have medical insurence or a retirementplan.
If they can afford tix for these events, the probability is greater that most would have medical insurance and a retirement plan...I doubt too many
uninsured can afford tickets...

Carly Simon? Are you sure? She rarely ever tours anymore, not in the last couple of decades. Maybe she played here in the 70s, but I would have remembered her playing here in the 90s or this decade.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Judy Collins?

Im almost certain Im not, but you could be right, clouds in your coffee. I try my best not to ever tell a fib and I did go to one of the summeroutdoor concerts and although Im pretty sure it was Carly Simons, it could have been Judy Collins. But it was back like in 1991, Im pretty sure.

Pretty sure she played here, around the time of the Hotcakes album. I may be wrong on the other, I know Judy for sure Collins played the Biltmore venue.
