I am just thrilled to see that Clay Aiken is appearing with the Asheville Symphony. He is a great entertainer.

This sounds like a beautiful setting. We live in N. California and are trying to plan a summer trip out there just to take in the scenery of the estate and of course see Clay!

I think it was Carly Simon I went to see there but I also have medical ins and a retirement plan, but, sad to say, cant compete with the "wealthy" in this town, if thats what your getting at. And also, sad to say, I sponsor my own "retirement" plan.

I have a paid up house, medical insurance and a retirement fund in place. Also have a goodly amount set aside to see Clay Aiken in concert this summer!! Totally worth the trip and ticket price!
Wouldn't do this for another soul!! HE'S worth it.

Carly Simon is hot.........but I refuse to give the Cecils any of the pitiful amount of money that I have. Sorta like boycotting Jane Fonda. They aint gonna be hurting by not getting my money, but at least they aint getting my money!

Boycotting Jane Fonda is easy. My boss (at the time) gave me his tickets to go see Carly Simon, and not being an idiot, I went. Shes great. And no, the Cecil's dont get any of my money, either.

I have no idea who Clay Aiken is (might be the last one on earth who doesnt, obviously) so I wont be going to see him, either.

Second to the last one on earth. I know the name but I aint sure what he does. My best guess is he sings something as he's going to be at the estate for their concert series

The B-52s' website has Asheville listed on their tour page and a link to the House for tickets.(It might be their mySpace page...can't remember.) I wonder if the tickets include access to the House? Although I loves me some B-52s,$45//$50 is a chunk o' change.

How great could she have been? I'm fairly certain Carly Simon has never played Asheville.

My first cousin lives in Candler, maybe she'll buy you some beer! LOL!!

If some of you don't know who Clay Aiken is, check out Unicef Ambassador who just returned from Afganistan or Presidential Appointee for the Intellectually Disabled (Clay is a college graduate who majored in Special Education) or Bubel-Aiken Foundation to benefit Autistic children or American Idol Season 2 or the singer who sold the most CDs/Records in the first week after it's release in the first week in the last 10 years--Measure of A Man.

And BTW, the gay question is sooooo yesterday!!
