Amy Grant has been on the Oprah Show before, but she was Amy Grant Chapman, not Amy Grant Gill, so I guess it is a do-over or this is her as a totally new person?
The show was totally hyped as getting into the inner sanctum of their home, their holiday traditions, their blended family, blah, blah, blah.
Instead, the show started out with Rascal Flatts singing, "She Goes All the Way" with a surprise visit by Jamie Foxx who totally stole the show. Also featured on the Show was Kenny Rogers singing, "The Gambler" and "Through the Years" as well as showing footage from his life at home with his twin boys, his older children, their beautiful gated home, etc.
I didn't tape it, but I would guess the segment on Vince and Amy was actually very small whereas it was hyped that they would be on almost the whole hour.
What a crock! Country Crock!
Why didn't they get someone with an interesting home life?
Look at me. I'm so country. I like to take a do-do where the toilets don't flush. Put on your Laura Ingalls outfit and call Pa from the barn, would you?
He got her some horses too. Have you seen her ride, trying to be like Janis? Pathetic.
Oh, well. Off to check on something more interesting like Brad Pitt in New Orleans or his Jesse James movie or Julia Roberts and her 3 pack or her Charlie Wilson's War movie where she plays someone 10 years older.
There's got to be something more interesting out there than Dunce Gill and Amy Grunt.
They wrote love songs about each other while married to other people. Unless one of her older children belong to Vince, ther's no story here. Move along, people. Even then, yawn. It's been done before.
Maybe they could take a page from Kenny Roger and just be honest. Check out his last divorce.
It's not about the divorce. It's about being honest and then moving on with life.
I'm not wild about Rascal Flatts, but Jamie Foxx coming out and serenading Oprah. That was worth the price of admission.
They were singing segments of Turd Love in other places. This is not the debut.
All hype.
