CD101 was a nothing more than a Kenny G groupie station. So many in the jazz community regarded CD101 as a pseudo-jazz station because of what they regarded as jazz. Not to mention their obsession over Kenny G. a mediocre artist at best

I'm not really all that sorry to see them go.

We were absolutely devastated, we loved CD 101.9. Recently while in Milwaukee, I found them on 106.9 and listened for 4 days striaght. I don't have a HD radio, but can listen to the Milwaukee station online at least. It's Smooth Jazz 106.9. The real deal!

I am so unhappy that the station took down my favorite radio station in New York City, "Smooth Jazz CD101.9". When I heard that Smooth Jazz CD101.9 change to 101.9RXP, I am so shock and unhappy that Smooth Jazz CD101.9 had took off the New York City radio airwaves. When I was little, I love listen to Smooth Jazz CD101.9 because I'm in to jazz. I been listen to Smooth Jazz CD101.9 in New York when I go to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Far Rockaway, Harlem, and the Bronx. I miss all of my DJ's from CD101.9 including Deborah Rath, Sharon Davis, Dennis Quinn, Paul Calvaconte, and all others DJ's.
