becasue of all religious beliefs scientology isnt worreid about grief and such real life matters. they're too worried about raising cash to concern themselves with developing a true doctrine that might actuallyhelp anyone in their lives.

1 Take down that pit of vipers and money stealing azzes while you are at it. You will still work as an actor, you are mostly at the age of character acting now. You can always fly planes for a living. Smart to have a second job lined up. Oh and be sure and come out of the closet while escaping from the Church of $cientology, cow that's how they blackmailed you into staying for all these years. |

It's unfortunate that it takes a cold hard dose of reality like the death of a child to put everything in perspective. Dilutions of grandeur and magical belief systems do nothing for a person when faced with such a tragedy. I wonder if he's tried to keep a grip on things by clinging onto his religion, but found there was nothing to hold onto. Keep up the fight John and find your true self, not the fake one that so many people find comfort in. The only convenience a belief system has in a situation like this is having an easy target to place and direct blame or anguish. That's all it's good for in this situation, the rest is family, friends and community which is where the real strength lays to get through these situations.

I was not aware that Scientology opposed medication as part of their beliefs..that's about as sick and wrong as things get...especially since it sounds like the death of J.T.s son might have been unnecessary..
in this day and age of real science, medical advancements on a daily basis..and the availability information on the internet, any 'religion' that does not have a place for reality needs to be thrown under the bus...and it just might have happened.. Everybody knows that J.T. is nothing but great...He is smart, talented, and a true role model for all....and it seems the only real mistake that he has ever made was placing his faith, and financial support in an organization that failed him. And in all tragedy...there must come something good ...and if even one single person life is saved because they "lost faith" went to a real doctor and got real treatment, it would make the falling of the Scientology financial empire worthwhile. |

Regardless of what ultimately happens.. I feel for John Travolta. And hope he can through and find his place in the world. Whether that is with scientology or any belief.
