Country star Blake Shelton has jumped to the defence of embattled singer Kelly Clarkson after she came under fire from critics for voicing her support for Republican U.S. Congressman Ron Paul.

Just goes to show you how brain dead people really are ! Who you vote for or who you Endorse is your business and is up to you if they don't like it tough ! And I'd like to throat punch a few myself that think their the only ones that matter ! I'm for Ron Paul and I applaud anyone who has the guts to stand up for who they believe in and who they want to vote for. Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson are fine in my book!

Really? Does that logic also apply to Obama and his racist past too? And Michelle? And their affiliations with other racists too? Is that also "unacceptable"?

What ever happened to our freedom to openly support the candidate of our choice? Obviously I'm not an Obama supporter, but I wouldn't respond with such anger and insult at any celebrity merely because they are Obama supporters. Perhaps because of their associated left leaning ideology, but not solely because they support a candidate I don't happen to agree with.

I'm not a particular fan of Kelly Clarkson as her music style is not of interest to me, but apparently she has a strong fan base and people that enjoy her music. However, these same people would "jump ship" and cause problems for her solely because she openly claims she supports Ron Paul?

And the media (leave it to them) to make such a big deal out of this, as a "call to arms" against a celebrity that doesn't fall lock step with liberal ideology in order to now crush her career. It's really sad how the media attempts to control people. Do you not feel controlled by the media? Does that not insult you as well?
