I think that he should have been in the hall of fame years ago but nashville is ashamed of the way he died i think nashville is too polished and that he wouldnt want to be in the hall of fame.

Keith should be in the country music hall of fame!
He is one the best singers that I have ever heard. He had that special ability to touch people's heart when he sang. Only a few people have that special gift and he was one of them. It is the saddest thing to see so many of the most talented people in country music with demons they can not control.

I'm from Wise Va. and i think Keith really sang and wrote song"s about his life and his feeling"s.
I get really sad when i hear about musican"s from our mountain"s that make it to Nashville and end up the way Keith did.
I think he really deserve"s to be in the hall of fame because he will be in our heart"s and mind"s forever. I also have a picture of Keith taken at the Knoxville civic center i wouls like to share with every Keith Whitley fan if i could find his fan club. Or to anyone want"s to e-mail me at mntman2000@yahoo.com

Keith Whitley Tribute
I would like to pass along some info to some of my friends before it's officially announced that may be of some interest to anyone who appreciates Country music, Keith Whitley and the legacy he left behind. This, the 20th anniversary of Keiths' untimely death has inspired myself with a group and friends and great musicians to launch "Kentucky Bluebird, A Keith Whitley Tribute".
This is an assembly musicians who have grown up with, studied and appreciate the great music Keith recorded during his career. We will focus on the music of Keith Whitley and precise recreations of Keiths' live road show with his band, Miami circa 1988.
"Kentucky Bluebird" is: Chris Caskey- Lead Vocals, Jason Hale- Bass, Paul Bernstein- Keyboards, Josh Hale- Drums, former Miami member Randy Hayes-Lead Guitar-Vocals,Greg Jones- pedal steel guitar. We all have worked and/or do work together is some capacity in other groups such as The Demo Kings and Jon Russell. Two members of "Kentucky Bluebird" are Sandy Hook, KY natives (Keiths' hometown) and are based in Nashville, TN.
Due to the fact that we are all working, professional musicians, "Kentucky Bluebird" will only be available for occasional performances. Please contact me below for booking information.

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Capricorn

Today's New Moon urges you to get to grips with something that's been weighing on your conscience recently. Do something about it, dear Goats, preferably before Christmas Day. Think how much better you'll feel when you've finally faced up and taken some concrete action over it. You'll wonder why you waited so long before doing something about it.
