With Butler in leading role, 'The Truth' is ugly indeed

I saw the movie and enjoyed it thoroughly. I would like to know how to become a movie critic, because I would like to make money watching movies, stuffing my face with popcorn, and slurring and besmirching somebody else's work on a regular basis, what's more be able to print an on line column about it which not too many people give a crap about. The only reason I am writing this is because I have had the honor of meeting Mr. Butler, and he really is a great guy. Something I have not seen with every star I have met. He was very down to earth. In a world that is so over consumed with what will poor Johnny do with out the latest x-box game, or little Lillith who cn't go to the prom without the latest everything, and mom and dad over consumed that they might have to trade in their Lexus or beamer, for dear Lord an American made car, To have 2 hours of precious laughter, is a wonderful and joyous commodity that is far worth more than anything Wall street can deliver.

Friends and I laughed ourselves silly at this movie, and we're not usually romcom fans. Butler and Heigl have good chemistry with each other in addition to their considerable individual comedic talents. Both naturally reach out and hold an audience. Not all critics gave positive reviews to the film, but almost all gave good to excellent reviews to the performers, including the leads.

I'm with Natalie from Kalamazoo, MI, though I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Butler.

Don't listen to the naysayers, people. See this movie and make your own decision after you've stopped laughing.

I agree with th 2 comments. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The cast was great and Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl have great chemistry and wonderful comedic timing. It's a laugh out loud movie. It's definitely for adults mainly due to language but after all it's rated R.
