Fresh out of the military, in 1972, I had the honor of being cast in a small role as bar tender in a James Ivory film, THE WILD PARTY, starring the Hollywood sex symbol of that time, Rachel Welch.

I remember Ms. Welsh constantly throwing temper fits and walking off the set. When she was on set, she was always telling Mr. Ivory how she thought the scene should be shot. And to make matters worse, Ms. Welsh would pit her acting coach Justin Smith up against Mr. Ivory, to argue her point. But Mr. Ivory was ever so patient, understanding and unbelievably sensitive to her every wish. I don't know how he did it. I would have lost it.

Time was money and Ms. Welsh caused the film to go over budget because of her crazy mood swings. But I suppose extraordary self control is part of what makes Mr. Ivory the great director he is.

Its still nice to know, people can still talk, it has become a lost art, gemma.......you might try it yourself, with your 4 words and nothing to add to the conversation!!
I thought that was very interesting Paul, and i have heard rumors about the lady before, with her bad behavior, it is indeed a good thing for Mr. Ivory that he has alot of self control....im sure it must help in his line of work....

Oh my, i guess i struck a nerve....finally! To answer your rude question once again, NO, I am not stupid!! You could have put Joe Blow from Cocamo down and who would have been the wiser, it doesnt automaticly mean thats who you are.
I take it, it wasnt an all girls school then, if you dated the captain of the rugby team....Im so thrilled to hear it, did you end up married said player or just went by the wayside?
You said you only had one prom, did you expect another, American headmaster or not??*Queen* of the prom, that could take on all different conitations, care to elaborate any further or should we close this chapter......heh, at least i got more than a couple words out of you at once.....quite an accomplishment, I would say, what?
A small thing, but very important, you are British, but SPEAK english......not to be rude, but right back at you....

*DIE*, what a strange analogy to use for a guy who would die if he had to do without you....how strange, did you ever put it to the test?? I think you may find he could probably last out fairly well, and its nice to know you knocked the rest of the girls out of the ball park with your good looks and wonderful personality (didnt think you were bragging) If you are still dating, that would automaticly mean you werent married, do you work or are you still in college?? Would you tell me where *Barnsley* is? I have heard of it and have been to London and the country-side a few years ago, just interested, I have a friend in *Herdfordshire*, anywhere near you??

Did I preceive a small freudian slip on your part my dear gamma, you said "my gf", did you mean girlfriend or boyfriend??
Dont you see how interesting this all is getting...can you tell anything about me?? You say you study sociology, do you enjoy that coarse, and why are you taking animal welfare? Do you plan on working with people or animals....you should inform gf or bf. just because they have money, doesnt mean they need to be ignorant, someday he or she may loose all their money, and then what will happen to them.....you must try and make them see the errors of their ways gemma, after all you have seen that person for a fair amount of time and really owe it to them to be a good friend....well as always, this has been a most intriguing encounter, are you finished with your studys for this year, oh yes, almost forgot, ha, that wouldnt be like me.....what year are you in at oxford?

That is a great and noble cause you are studying for gemma. I love animals and believe they should be treated well and humanely in all cases. Do you think the people should go so far as to give their pets tombstones? Do you think they have souls?
I have just read a few of the things about Patsy Ramsey, a damn shame, we will never know what went on there, but it certainly is a tragic family affair....some people havent much sympathy, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors, but they are so quick to judge others!!
You said your bf. could get any job he wanted, does that mean he is not working now? Money shouldnt be the end all, it should be used to further humanity and help less fortunate people, not that im saying give it away, just not to be *everything*, he must be fairly young to sit back and rest on his laurels, instead he should either be going to school or working!!
Well my dear gemma, i certainly wish you luck with your studys, and i would give you alot more credit, than your bf!!
