Boston's Julie Andrews coming to Ashby Senior Center - Sentinel...

The Ashby Cultural Council and the Ashby Senior Citizens Club have joined together and are pleased to announce the appearance of singing star Ruth Harcovitz, "Boston's Julie Andrews." Harcovitz will be bringing her show, "A Celebration of Rodgers and Hammerstein," to the Ashby Senior Citizen Club.

What a wonderful thing for the people of Ashby, but the Legion. The place is a dump. Couldn't you have found a better place, the elementary school, one of the churches.What will this lady think when she comes to town.

I met her, laughed at her sense of importance....wants to promote herself and insist on being introduced as "Boston's Julie Andrews" which means she has no self identity.

Maybe if you got involved it wouldn't be a dump...it is a historic building and in the process of being painted,although not with your help of course. No for some people its just easier to throw stones.. Nice
