Huge Journey fan from waaay back. Love his voice but if he is that shallow, "F" him. Life is much too short to be like that.

I don't think that we should judge the man that launched Journey into the huge success that is was. His voice is one of the most amazing voices of our time and it's best to focus on that rather than whether he was a jerk about the split up of the band. They can call themselves Journey now but it will never be the same as the Journey I knew in the 80's.

I've heard rumors amongst other things on this hot topic. Yet, seeing Journey last night in Tinley Park made me still get that feeling listening to Journey. Lead singer was kinda cute and after his hair unfrizzed, I believe he sounded pretty close to the original.(NOT LIKE BUT CLOSE TO)

I saw Journey in Columbia, SC. It took me half the show to get use to that frizzy headed singer. It was tough. I want to see Steve Perry!!!!! He definitley made the band a success although Neal Schon was great! He tried and the other band memebers tried but it was disappointing.

Steve Perry had the most amazing voice I've ever heard live or on a studio album. But all good things must come to an end,as far as I'm concerned there is no Journey without Steve Perry!

None of us are ever going to be privy to what really happened. Therefore, we should not jump to judge in either direction. Steve Perry has the greatest voice, and is an excellent song writer, of all times and is the one reason Journey was brought to fame. Thank you Steve Perry for all you have given us....I am forever "missing you". Love you Steve - stay healthy and do what makes you happy.

No, how about "F" you. Make's more sense to me. Steve Perry is NOT shallow...you weren't there and you didn't live through what he did. The man has a right to have his own opinions and do as HE pleases. I miss Steve Perry ...and I miss Journey...It will never be what it was. If you are a true Journey fan then you will respect the man. I live for the day that Steve wants to sing again, but until that day comes I will just have to settle for my CD"s. Better then nothing! Now go stick a bar of soap in your mouth or up your butt, which ever suits ya!

Dear Journey,
I feel that Steve Perry has a good singing voice and should be given another chance with Journey. Lisa.

Steve Perry and Journey were not that popular in Europe, although his voice was so powerful and used to blend so well with the band's music. Will we ever see them again together (or, at least, come on Steve, sing something!)

I've just discovered Journey and am obsessed with Steve Perry and that incredible voice. I want to see him, I want to hear him. A little while ago I saw him on tv in a suit and hair cut and was asked if he was going to be with Journey again, and he said yes. What's up?

I'm so bummed that they aren't together anymore. I grew up on Journey and REO Speedwagon! Why do all the good bands break up? I'm also waiting for Guns N Roses to re-unite which will most likely never happen. It's so depressing. If they really cared about their fans, which most musicians say that their fans are what keep them driven, then they would try to work out differences and continue to make great music! There will never be good bands like these guys ever again. It really sucks.

Our Wishes May Come True! Journey just fired Jeff Soto, and with Don't Stop Believin' the hit of the Sopranos finale, we MUST get the revolution going to get these guys back together with Steve Perry. Steve is the ONLY voice of Journey! Let's get this going people!!!!!!!!!!
