tal - have you seen the videos of Adam singing the role of Josua in a song from the Ten Commandments, the Musical? It is on you tube. sl is a pair of wonderful songs with Noa Dori. One is the prayer - both vry high range. the other is the trio, on a celebration of peace, in a tribute to Rabin. I also like Adam's songs at the Caberet - and especially with a really fine piano player accompanying him. Dust in the Wind is simple and lovely - it is a wonderful song, anyhow. To be fair, compare Adam with Clay Aiken, and especially the song Solitaire, during Idol. and his versions of The Prayer and I Want to know Waht Love Is - with his two sidekicks, in more recent times. He is also hilariously funny just chatting with audiences. One of my favorites is his appearance at the 2006 Idol Finale, where he comes on as a surprise. I don't believe in just picking out one hero or star and idolizing that person - it is wonderful to look for many fine talented persons and encourage them.

To answer your question - the second-place winner can have many opportunities also. clay aiken won second place, and yet followed up with very successful tours and recordings. ou are correct that in matters of art, there are differences in taste that make it difficult to feel just in having a clear-cut winner. Just look at the attempt to judge ice dancing as a sport, in the Olympics and other competitions - when it is obviously an art form like dancing, with great athletic skill. Even ballroom dancing ha a more set pattern of standards that people can use to tell them what to do to be winners, if that is their goal. I thought that breaking the barriers and providing beauty and greatness and daring innovation was a better goal, so I liked Abasina and Peizerot, Klimava and Pomerenko, and most of all the Ducheney brother and sister, in Missing (the disappearances during the reign of the Argentine Generals, Pinochet, etc. in Latin America - with the Andean flute music, so hauting, and so emotional and loaded with significance, instead of being mindless broadway frothiness).

Kris should soo win, and he will,
i dont care what kind of arguement yu have for me.
Adam has had some good performances but, he isnt as good of a singer as Kris.
Kris is soulful and his music really draws yu in, he means it when he sings it, and his voice is great, its dreamy, haha:)
ohhh and not to mention he's AHdorable.
now about adam? uhmm lets seee.
Hello screamer much?
Gay much?
Over the top much?
ohh yess!
the judges seem to praise adam over everything, and dude when yu
think about it, and actually listen to him, he isnt good,
all he is, is show!!
he has no heart and soul in it, like Kris!
AND THATS EXACTLY WHYYY. kris will win!:)
KRIS ALLEN all the wayy!
ohh and maybee yuu havent noticed but, Kris
has been before Adam in the last couple of weeks,
therefore meaning, he's gotten more votes,
andd, more people <3 him!
i know i do!

Adam has a long and good career ahead of him
if he had won he would be so locked into the AI contract and not free to come and go as he wishes. He would have been held back by it really so it all is good..both will do great!

well both of them did great, votes are what were counted, and KRIS got the most votes. I thought the Daughtry guy should've won that other time, but he didnt'. Both guys will have a great future.
Carrie Underwood is a perfect example.
WAY To Go Kris
hmmmm ah ha
