"we’re concerned about the future of our children to have the American dream."

Sure you are; I'm concerned about the future of American's feet. God help me, I have a foot fetish, and if Americans can't buy lotion to buy on female feet, I'll be outraged!

“The mission of this bus tour is to educate voters about how their elected representatives have voted,” said Ben Marchi of Americans for Prosperity, part of the Spending Revolt’s coalition.“Let’s face it, there are a lot of voters who go to the polls and don’t even know who’s on the ballot. We need to make sure they not only know who’s on the ballot but also how they voted.”

1. People elect representatives with the idea that they will vote within the same party as themselves, or at least the same ideas.

2. Duh, tons of people don't care about politics enough to research their candidates on Google, and just vote for a party.

3. Are you guys going to go to every home in America and make sure people know who's on the ballot? Namely you guys, right? You're preaching to the choir.

"let the government know, stop spending my money!"

The government gets their money from you... So, if there are no taxes, there's nothing but money borrowed from other nations and illegal funds from oil, paper, and other companies. Stop spending? That's what the government does, and the moment you can stop them from using millions of dollars on one fighter plane, is the moment we have world peace and pigs fly.

"You’ve heard me through the years characterize my views as that of a common sense, Jeffersonian conservative."

Wow, do you smoke pot and hate democracy like he did too?

I love it how people claim to have a cause, and they themselves can't plainly explain what it's for.

By the way, the government is spending for many reasons: We're in a war, there is a massive amount of debt, there too much government, etc.
