Oh for crying out loud, if you don't want to give teens your candy, then don't. We don't need any more laws governing the minutia of our lives! Besides, I kind of like seeing teens acting a little bit like kids again.

I am wearing a costume with my kids and I'm 32. Is that OK? Am I too old?(sarcasm)

Soak the teens with the garden hose and call the police.

I don't mind teenagers being out, but I do think they have to at least put some effort into a costume. I get annoyed by teenagers who wear no costume and come up to my door with a plastic grocery bag. And no - a shirt sporting your favorite team is not a costume.

Good for you :) More grandparents should be involved in fun activities with their grandchildren.

If you don't feel safe with your children going down a street trick or treating, perhaps you should GO WITH THEM.

Higher crime rates in my opinion... if you don't feel safe, go with them, But seriously, there is no need to dress up. I'm sure you would get a lot more respect if you didn't.

A group of five adults with one todler came to my door tonight and all the adults had bags for candy and one had two bags. And these were not the only adults trick or treating. Kids and teenagers fine but adults? I ran out of candy before beggars night was over...no surprise due to folks that should be passing out candy instead of taking it. Doubtful I will pass out candy next year.
