Johnny Cash is so representative of the Christian life. Early career torn apart by sin, always struggling to overcome, repentent and faithful along the way. At the he knew that eternal life with the Father and Son awaits. There is a power much higher than mine. One hundred million angels singing.
He personifies our frailness of flesh and the power of God's salvation and the deliverance. God was speaking to us through him.
