I was not surprised by the level of bigotry and stupidity that the good people of Sun Lakes demonstrated at the recent town hall mtg. It is typical of right wing seniors who live a live of luxury. They demand more than they paid for. They receive three times more in benefits than they paid into it. If they want to help reduce spending, then cap their medicare benefits to what they put into it. They don't understand that the immigrants they condemn are the backbone of the agricultural industry in this country. They are hard working people who would like to contribute, not take welfare like the idiot that confronted Sen. McCain charges. This fool can grow his own vegetables and fruit, cut his own lawn, etc. Their generation feels entitled which is interesting, since that is a charge they throw around at others. They are the ME generation. (Senior in Upstate NY)

I could sit here and break down evry ridiculous statements you made in your comment, but sometime I hear a little voice in me that says loud and clear,"why bother ?". Therefore, I will leave it at that and continue on.

My town is completely urban with no heavy industry, meat packing plants or farms. Yet, according to a local pro-illegal alien organization, there are 20,000 illegal aliens here. They are not picking berries or pulling chickens apart. They are spending their time turning downtown into a violent slum and drug den, flooding our schools with their anchor bastards and closing down a regional hospital that could no longer afford to give them free medical care. Any statement that is contrary to the fact that Mexicans are sub-human trash is a damned lie!

Keep it real they have every right to complain, why would they not complain about the social ill's of that state, are they supose to sit back and not try and defend the country that they help build into the country that these illegals have no repect for? god bless them for caring most sit back and don't want to confront whats being done to this country once again may god bless each and everyone who felt strongly enough to come out and make their voices heard.
