Health savings? No one knows

No independent group has taken a comprehensive look at how the legislation would impact premiums for the 170 million Americans who receive insurance through their employers. But that was then. No one in the White House is making such a pledge now. It’s one of the most basic, kitchen-table questions of the entire reform debate: Would the sweeping $900 billion overhaul actually lower spiraling insurance premiums for everyone?

If anybody believes that socializing medical care in the USA will save money in any way, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Any takers?

Socialization of medical care means more taxes and rationed, substandard care. Quality mecidal care will be for the wealthy class who have private insurance and can pay and go private for their care.

There will be less medical providers as fewer people will see the point in twelve years of sacrifice, poverty and training with half mil loans to boot to become such. Less premature babies will be saved and so forth.

What our politicians in Washington keep on saying on the news outlets is that this is good for America.

I will believe that Congress is acting in our best interests when each member jumps on board for the public option. And pigs will fly, too.

I'm waiting for the final bill to come out of Congress for the lawsuits to start flying. The federal government has no right to force Americans to purchase any product, goods or services if they choose not to. This is not about health care; it is about gaining control over our lives,
lifestyles, and of course, grabbing still more of our money.

I sense a growing hostility and resentment toward America's roylaty, its elected officials, and the people whose interests are supposed to be served by them. How far these negativity will go depends upon how far Congress pushes with this issue. New Jersey and Virginia were not warning enough. I think if a miner's mule ran in 2010, he would show more wisdom in managing the nation's affairs.

And I am sick of looking at Nancy Pelosi's Botox smile. She looks like somebody in an advanced state of rigor mortis.

Allow me to be the first to surrender to obama's failed health care plan. I have spent the last 7 months under VA health care at a cost to taxpayers of about $15,000. I'm healthy and fine but just wanted to know for sure. Colon is fine, liver and kidneys are fine, lungs are fine, heart is fine, blood readings are all fine. If it cost $15,000 for someone who is in good health how much will it cost to treat the sick. My X-rays, MRIs, gamma ray heart scans, dental work, sleep study, mental evaluation, dermatologist exams, ortho exams, etc were all pretty expensive.
Imagine 300 million Americans when they discover that free health care means a $15,000 checkup just like I had this year. I got there first to avoid the rush. Being out of work has its advantages in being available for all this hospital care. I don't pay Social Security and very little taxes. I do feel sorry for the middle class when they get the bill for obama's health care. I'm not coming back to the workforce but will be healthy and fit to grow my obama garden next year and from now on.

How about what the hospitals charge? Cap hospital costs and the insurance cos will follow. 150 for an aspirin, thousand dollars to walk into an emergency room. If hosptial charges are not addressed insurance is doomed. You stay in the hospital for two weeks its almost a million dollars. People rave about the ceos in big business. What do you think a hospital ceo makes?

Any lack of savings from health care reform is also on YOUR head. Single payer would save us $1 TRILLION a year but you RepublicRats rejected single payer and Dems were too chicken or too corrupt (as all RepublicRats are) to even bring it up for consideration.
