Former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace Eric Williams, 46, was arrested Saturday after authorities discovered what they’re calling “strong evidence” linking him to the killings of two Kaufman County prosecutors and the district attorney’s wife.
Williams was the first person authorities publicly acknowledged questioning in the murder investigation, which many believed the work of a white supremacist prison gang that prosecutors in Kaufman County were bringing cases against.

As long as you realize the Southern Democrats were a totally different creature than Liberal Democrats of the Northeast.
Following Goldwater's anti-Civil Rights speech in 1964, the Southern states began shifting to the Republican camp. By the mid-1980s, it was a solid GOP block.
Are you trying to make the case that those racist attitudes magically disapppeared once they joined the GOP?
Surely you're not that stupid.
No, they are not the same and not all Democrats were Southern Democrats.

But Democrats figured out pretty quick they were sitting on a gold mine of votes after the Southern Democrat bloc failed to keep the Civil Rights Act from being passed.

Democrats have also failed the black community by empty promises, neglecting the crisis in the inner cities under Democratic leadership and encouraging a victimization mentality. The underlying current in the Democratic Party to keep as many blacks dependent on government and, thus, keeping them in power is not what many consider to be what the civil rights movement was all about and certainly not worthy of party loyality.

Whatever that's supposed to mean. Carol is the biggest bible thumper on here and she's against everyone. It would appear that religion is fostering hatefulness. But, being that they are just a couple of people, it's not fair to all who are religious. I refuse to accept that.
You couldn't be more wrong. What I'm against is big government deciding who gets what by taking and giving and being our collective conscience.

Every person is entitled to the same opportunitites to better themselves and their circumstances in a competitive market which can provide those opportunities.

The money we are throwing at the War on Poverty would be better spent opening technical and trade schools in the inner cities and providing minorities with incentives to learn a trade or skill.

Right now, it's backwards.

I am against the killing of the unborn and our laws sanctioning it. I am against taking away people's dignity by making it too easy for them to take from others without giving back. And I am against changing the definition of marriage to accomodate what has always been considered an alternative lifestyle.

You have a misconception of what it means to be "for" and "against".

You are "against" protecting human life before it is born. You are "against" people having their dignity by being self-sufficient. And you are "against" protecting society from an anything goes mentality.

There are even non-Christians who are "for" what you are "against".

You can use other names, but Carol's ignorance shines through.

Human life isn't human life until it is born, nitwit.

So it's a woman's decision whether to bear the zygote.

Keep yer stinkin' religion to yourself, bigot!!

We're not against anything. We're for freedom and not allowing f=religious freaks dictate our laws.

The Supreme Court made it legal many years ago. You are just another sore loser.

First,you lost on abortion.

Soon you will lose on your Teabagger anti immigrant stance.

Next you will lose on gay rights.

Then you will lose on Climate Change.

It's old farts like you that want to deny reality and live in the past.

I don't care. If you want to be a nasty minority, help yourself. You won't be winning any elections on that.

Harry Hay is the founder of gay liberation.
In 1950, he started the
underground
Mattachine Society.

It took its name from a dance, les Mattachines, that groups of unmarried men performed in France during the Renaissance.
In 1953, the group's new leaders attacked Hay and the other founders of Mattachine, all of whom had ties to the Communist Party.

Mattachine Society
Begun in 1950, the Mattachine Society was an early homosexual rights advocacy organization. It became the subject of an FBI internal security investigation between 1953 and 1956.

How's about letting the American people know what was planned??

How's about putting airports and transportation hubs on alert??

How's about telling airlines to look for problems, like one way tickets and no luggage??

He ignored the warning and put America and you at risk.

And you're too stupidly stubborn to admit to any of it!!

What a stupid question you asked. Anyone would have taken precautions. Bush did not. He failed the nation.
