I would just like to say that John has shared some family inf before, his song names Ben 18 mon. younger than him, a pic of John and Carl has surfaced, we were informed of his parents attending at some concerts and award ceremonies as well. But, RESPECT Is The Main Object Here. It is their choice to be revealed as his family or it is Johns! Either way, we know he has one, obviously, he speaks of them in his lyrics, and maybe everyone does not agree that to be in the spotlight is a cool place to be. At present that is the way it is so let sleeping dogs rest,OK. JLHT

His mom is Margaret Mayer, His father is Richard Mayer and he has two brothers. Carl the oldest then John as the middle child and then Ben. " Thing about my brother Ben I miss hime everyday. He looks just like his brother John but on an eighteen month delay"

My dad actually knows john mayer's dad. I'm not going into specifics but my dad worked with his dad in the Bridgeport school system. My dad hasen't seen Mayer's dad in a few years, but my uncle sees him about once a week. I just figured this out today too.

If you just look up his bio on line you will find all that info. They still live in Connecticut.

In his world where everything is so public, let this guy have some privacy! He entertains us with great music. John is a nice guy. His parents are living in the community and john shows up as a hometown guy. And yes, he does visit his family....
