thats because it stunk last year. too many new comers from the bar scene. remember the girl who got on stage and yelled "hello miami" ?? half the crowd walked away laughing at her. if they are going to charge so much for admission at least they can do better then hunting out the local bars for singers. and lets not get started on the lousy food either.

Sunfest has been terrible for the last ten years.

To many gangsters and thugs.

You never hear about all the crime and problems there.

Go back to just jazz and free admission and maybe you can save it!!

" stretched entertainment budget and got the hottest acts"

I remember, "Way back when," they had Ray CHarles, Take 6, The Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, Etta James, Dave Grusin, Special EFX, Toni Bishop, Dizzy Gelispie, Kenny G, Peter White, and Harry Connick Jr.

Those were "standard" acts.

Now they are "stretching" their budget and only two or three names are well-known!

Who, in their infinite wisdom, chnaged it from the safe jazz festival that it once was to the type of venue that thugs would even considering going to?

There aren't many places for "normal" folk to go anymore.

HELP!

This is one of the best line-ups SunFest had put together. They finally used their heads. I'm flying in for it.
