The logic being that because people are too fat and dumb to make healthy choices themselves, they should obviously trade their freedom for a chance for arrogant masterminds like Bloomy to make them for us. Duh!

Let them eat cake!!!

Where WOULD I be without you, Bloomie?

Normally, I chug Coca Cola from 32oz containers. Now, I have to buy three 12oz bottles.

Thank you Mr Bloom-bug!! That was the reason I was going to move out of The Rotten Apple. My tax bills causing bankruptcy had nothing to do with it.

Silly. Food prohibitions, unless you're talking about cleanliness, are an absurd waste of time and invasion of personal privacy and liberty.

Smart people don't need to be told that ingesting 32 oz of sugary drink is a bad idea. Dumb people will get fat.

That's life.

I quit drinking soda 14 years ago. And never missed it. Let the diabetics eat cake....and drink their 32-ouncers. You'll keep the pill companies, diabetic supply companies and blood labs in business. I can just imagine the price of a quart of soda on the street in NYC. A dime bag is probably cheaper. Luckily there are pawn shops and loans offices nearby to finance the tourist's bubble water when they need a fix.

Yowza! I can go to Sylvia's in Harlem and have a large plate of greasy pig intestines called "chitlin's". I can have some sides of beans, cooked with salt pork and greens, cooked with more salt pork.

But to wash it all down I CAN'T have a super-sized coke. Although I can purchase small packages of coke in powder form just outside the restaurant.

Not to mention that those 3 12 oz. bottles will cost more than the larger 32 ounce container.

So if I take my family of 4 out for pizza, and want to get a large bottle of soda with 4 cups to share, I won't be able to anymore, and will instead have to pay for 4 individual sodas? Isn't New York expensive enough, without having to spend even more because of this nonsense?

I really think Bloomberg has gone off his rocker. Has he had a checkup lately, because he seems to be pretty delusional these days.

We Americans are losing our freedom little by little.

WTH does Bloomie think he is? If I choose to be a fattie, then that's MY business.

Taking candy from a laughing babies mouth is his solution.

Those things really do add on the pounds and give diabetes. Try to drink water sometimes. That'll help a little.

Bloomie said that he doesn't care if we drink corn syrup or kerosene. Just as long as it's not in a 20oz bottle.

Give diabetes? What does THAT mean? Diabetes is not given to anyone: the body develops diabetes.

I cannot even come up with an intelligent comment because the subject matter is so totally ridiculous. What's next, king size candy bars? Double cheese burgers? Regular chewing gum?
