Perhaps you dont know the series so ill let it pass in that case but i strongly recomend you to check friday night lights where you will find what is probably the best on screen couple nowadays, coach taylor and his wife Tammy, both masterfully played by Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton. Trust me on this tone and add one more space to the list.

Call me a dork, but I think the relationships in sci-fi shows "Farscape"--between Ben Browder's John Crichton and Claudia Black's Aeryn Sun--and "Doctor Who"--mostly the second season between David Tennant's Doctor and Billie Piper's Rose.

In "Farscape", it's delicious because as you follow the show from season to season, you really watch the relationship go from people who can't stand each other to friends to one is in love with the other to I've-been-cloned-now-which-one -is-real to I-loved-your-clone-who-is-dead -but-not-you-as-much...

And in "Doctor Who", it's a special kind of relationship as traveler and traveling companion. He, the near-immortal Time Lord who's almost a millennium old, and she the Earth girl who left her dull life on Earth on a whim for seemingly endless adventures. The first season sets it up, the second season is the relationship at its peak, and the third is *SPOILER ALERT* the Doctor occasionally brooding about how much he misses Rose.

Oops, I forgot to finish the first sentence in my post. It should continue with "...should be included in the list.".

Where in the world did you come up with some of these couples!! What about Bogart & Bacall?

Exactly - Bogart and Bacall. Gable and Leigh... Dietrich and Cooper. Tracy and Hepburn. But just accepting for the moment that your memories only stretch back a short way, no Xena and Gabrielle??? fail fail fail.

Where's Nick and Nora Charles? Did romance only begin in 2001?

oh man... this is just not funny. Mulder and Scully, Rhett and Scarlet, David Addison and Maddie Hayes,

i get that this list isn't all that serious.. but honestly, Burn Notice??? What the hell??

No Nick and Nora?!?!?!? This article reeks of modern inner-focus, just like every other "Best Of..." list lately.

I would add Ethan Hawk and Julie Deply in Before Sunrise and Before Sunset!

I also would have gone with Donna and David or Kelly and Dillon on 90210 over that O.C. couple.

OMG, thank you for including Lionel and Jean! I stumbled across As Time Goes By on public television and I loved it! It's very sweet and very funny - and I love this portrayal of older people who find love (and sex) with someone from their past, and try to reconcile who they were then and who they are now.

The list includes J.D and Turk, which is fair enough, they are very cute, but what about Joey and Chandler from Friends? If they're not a great couple, who is?

I don't know who came up with some of the stupid choices that were on this list.

How could you leave out a couple from the 90's that graced every magazine cover and was on a show that started out as a cult favorite before going mainstream? I'm talking about the one and only greatest couple, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) from the X-Files.

Seriously, how are Buffy and Angel not on the list? It was a TV romance spanning 7 seasons!

Also, Zach and Kelly from Saved by the Bell so deserve a spot above that OC nonsense
