The smell of dawning leftist fear:

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Unfortunately, you've grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that's at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They'll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can't be trusted.

We have never been a people who place all our faith in government to solve our problems. We shouldn't want to. But we don't think the government is the source of all our problems, either. Because we understand that this democracy is ours. And as citizens, we understand that it's not about what America can do for us, it's about what can be done by us, together, through the hard and frustrating but absolutely necessary work of self-government. And class of 2013, you have to be involved in that process.

Ain't that the truth. Without a teleprompter he's a complete and utter moron. And he is putting the whole country in danger with his stupidity and sophomoric ideas.. But Media Matters will cover for him.

I remember when REAL presidents gave speeches:

"In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."

January 20, 1981: From Reagan's Inaugural Address.

That stupid SOBama isn't qualified to pick lint out of his own belly button.

After Benghazi he should resign. It's a disgrace beyond comprehension.

The petulant king will never resign.
Congressional ears will turn deaf to any call for impeachment.

The abandonment may have begun today on the Sunday news shows:

On Fox News Sunday, Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) admitted that the Obama administration's talking points on Benghazi, edited to remove references to extremism and blaming protests against an anti-Islamic YouTube video for the violence, were "false. They were wrong. There were no protests outside the Benghazi compound."

On CBS News' Face the Nation, Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD), the Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee, also admitted that the administration's talking points were wrong, though putting the changes down to the fact that the intelligence changed over time in a "volatile situation."

Meanwhile, on Syria, former Rep. Jane Harman, a prominent California Democraet, acknowledged on NBC News' Meet the Press that the Obama administration had been slow to respond: "I wish we had acted sooner."
