CB is supposedly a gun owner.
If he is, he only owns revolvers and never seen a semi-automatic before, that's for sure.

Well they do expect Proof, as in a Photo of yourself, maybe Skeet Shooting? No, they will say that is doctored and point out that clay pigeons are not visible, blah, blah. Possibly a Video?
What is visible is a lot of smoke from smokeless gun powder. LOl.

Then shouldn't the issue be keeping those shooters out of schools and keeping those kind of weapons out of the shooters hands if possible?
There are some simple steps that can make access to Weapons Of Mass Destruction and entry to schools more difficult and even impossible. Why don't we try that instead of Arming teachers and janitors and trusting them to act safely in a situation they never before encountered.
What do you think?
What I think is that it's a local issue and not a national one. If it becomes a national issue, there goes a lot of wasted money to solve nothing.

What we really need to do is reinstitute being committed. People are more worried about the rights of the mentally ill than they are the society around them. We used to do it years ago, why not now?

So we take so-called assault weapons away from people, and they shoot kids with a 9mm handgun instead. Dead is dead, and when you're dead, it doesn't matter what gun a person used to kill you.

In a free country, it's impossible to stop people from getting guns if they really want them. Over 80% of the crimes committed with guns are stolen or purchased on the street from somebody who did steal them. So registration is not the answer. It's also why I believe the best we can do for these school children is to have armed personnel since we can't stop people from getting guns.

CB made a point that using different weapons might mean less dead kids. So instead of killing 26, they may only get to 24 of them. Would you be happy with such a compromise if one of those 24 was your child? Sorry, but to me, that's no solution. It's like saying we're going to compromise with the terrorists who want every American dead, and say we agreed that they can only kill 80% of us.

Reminds me of when John Kerry went out and had pictures of him eating a hot dog to show he's a regular guy. The look on his face was like he was eating dog crap.

Lmao! I provide facts backed with statistics. Show one post from me using FOX as a source.
My facts are backed by FBI,CDC, or BATFE published statistics. The fact that you call that misinformation proves that you are brainwashed to the socialist propaganda.

Seems to me you are pretty obsessed with cartoons for some reason. You Tube doesn't really produce much; certainly no cartoons. It's just a site where people can post videos they created like the one in the link I provided.
This is what I call typical liberal politics. Just go out and make laws that solve absolutely nothing, but feel good that they were created anyway. Proof? We don't need no stinking proof. We say it's such a way so it is. You'll just have to believe us and to hell with your proof that shows otherwise.
And almost every post when responding to mine you mention youtube several times.

Conservatives believe nothing helps solve problems so we demand all Americans just sit on their hands and pray to their god NRA for more guns in America.

Buy more over priced guns and ammo, buy more over priced guns and ammo, buy more over priced guns and ammo. Amen

Yep, and that's why I feel safe when I walk the street or drive my car: because I buy more guns and ammo.

Trying to discredit YouTube is similar to yours trying to discredit Fox and Limbaugh. When you have no real opposing argument, just say "I don't watch those things" or "Oh, you got your information from X" and that automatically supports your position in your own mind.

You can't provide one ounce of evidence that the information we post is wrong, so you resort to cutting down the source.

That's fine as long as you are comfortable in your happy place. But my happy place is facts, figures and results.

The difference being terrorist want all Americans dead so as to bring America down {a political or religious goal}, gun nuts who commit mass deaths in schools is not to destroy a nation but only fulfill a sick mentality {gamers, grudge, attention, easy targets, etc.}

Yes, but the common denominator is they want all of X dead be it Americans or school children. We are all witness to the countless murders that occur because of internet, but we don't outlaw internet for the hundreds of millions that use it responsibly. Even if we did, the people who put out ads on Craigslist or some dating site will just find alternate means for carrying out their evil.

My point is that we are concentrating on the tools used instead of the people who want to use these tools. In that process, many responsible and good people suffer because of it. Plus, it really doesn't solve anything.

Sounds like a pretty boring place to me.

Uuuhh, I stated I watch Fox news and matched your views that NBC, CBS slant. So it's ok for your conservatives to disredit but not us proud liberals? Hhhhmmm?

With the Limbaugh thing I may not have commented, but if I didn't, I will, he's a drug addict who makes money spouting hate.
