It's the cover-up of the lie Obama had Susan Rice spread around. That is the focus of the scandal.
Obama did not want a terrorist attack on 9/11/ a month before the election. So he made up that rediculous story about some stupid movie and had his people spread it all over the place. He let the terrorists escape in doing so.. Now he is trying to cover that big lie up. But the facts don't add up. THAT is where the scandal is. It reads like a John Grisham novel.

For Hillary to fall on her sword for that pitiful coward in the White House is astonishing. She has just ruined her chance of ever winning 2016 and this thing is sure to bring Obama down.

What exactly is it, that the President does?

It seems someone else takes responsibility for everything.

I thought Hillary had more self-respect than this. To take the blame for his Obama's lack of leadership is truly pathetic. Besides, this doesn't explain the cover up at all.

Is Obama responsible for ANYTHING? I hate to say it but he's starting to seem like the token black actor in a B movie. And the movie sucks!

Maybe the Clinton's have already concluded Obama has lost the election, so they want to be able to tell future black and/or liberal voters that they did "all they could".

Why is it this president never takes responsibility for anything that goes wrong, but jumps out there front and center for anything that goes right, no matter who did it?

I've never seen such an immature 50 year old in my life!

It's hard to believe Hillary is going to take the fall for him...and Bill keeps campaigning for this POS?

I hope that the American people aren't stupid enough to believe this lie, but I also hope that it destroys Hillary's 2016 chances. We don't need her in power. She's too much like Obama.

Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
Winston Churchill

And regarding the vice-presidential debate:

Poor Hilary, first she stands by her Billy in his cover-up, now she stands by Obama's cover-up. She's the looser both times.

Hillary Clinton is obviously continuing the lies. She now says that the reason for blaming a movie clip for the attack was "the fog of war." Does it make any sense that a "fog of war" would cause blaming a movie clip? She makes the falsehood worse, but more obvious, by continuing "the attack went on for hours" as reason for misinforming the world, that a movie clip insulting Muhammad was the reason for the attack. Do any of these people ever talk about how making such an accusation and immediately putting all their efforts into arresting the movie clip maker might inflame more nutty Muslims to more violence? No, because that would get to the core of the issue... Obama has intentionally reversed all gains made in the war on terror and now informs the Taliban of exactly when they can put all the adolescent girls in bags and keep them from schooling, shooting the ones who insist to read.

Further, it's a lie upon lie. "Fog of war" implies the Democrats have done something other than impede our military in their war efforts. It also reeks of the last resort of a scoundrel... wrapping the Democrats in patriotism. We know both are false. They've impeded necessary wars for eleven years for political purposes pandering to the weak and cowardly, whose votes they've bought with food stamps and cell phones.

Romney/Ryan 2012

I come from a family of democrats in a blue state (Oregon) but we are very patriotic Americans and we could tell that Obamacare was too good to be true, so we voted for McCain in 2008, and we are voting for Mitt Romney this time.

Actually, in the candidate selection in 2008 I think my family voted for McCain, assuming that they were able too. I know that I voted for Romney, but then I am younger and I registered to vote in 2000, just in time for that presidential election.

By then I was sickened by Bill Clinton, and ended up being the first to register as a republican in my family.

Regarding Bill Clinton, what I despised about him was him cheating on his wife, and if that wasn't bad enough, lying about it to Congress and the American people. To me, the president of the united states is supposed to be a moral example to everyone here, and abroad, so that behavior made me not like him at all.

Anyway, I liked McCain in 08 because he was a true American hero, having been in the military and been a prisoner of war, and suffered so much for the freedoms we take for granted, but after the Bush Presidency I thought we needed a businessperson to get in there and pull us out of the recession, so I voted for Romney. I voted for McCain in the primary because, as I said, obamacare sounded too good to be true and I figured McCain would be better then Obama, plus McCain was a war hero and I respected him, and Obama was an unknown.

In 2000 I voted for Bush because I thought Al Gore was a joke, lol, Mr I invented the internet, and while President Bush made a lot of mistakes during his presidency, I believe that for the most part they were well-intentioned mistakes, and I am not sure that Al Gore could have done any better.

In 2004 I gave serious thought to voting for John Kerry, but we were in the middle of a war, and as I said, despite President Bush's mistakes, I believed they were well intentioned and I was willing to give him another chance. Not that my vote really mattered, since I am from a Blue state, but in hindsight maybe I would have voted for Kerry, if I knew then what I know now, but my one vote wouldn't have changed anything.

I am somewhat independent, I understand the basic democrat and republican philosophies, but the more extremist faction of the democratic party is gaining greater influence and those I cannot respect.

Susan Rice would not have come out and lied about the stupid video if it had not been okayed by the White House. Barack obama will do ANYTHING to stay in power, in a job he loathes, in a country he loathes even more. The problem with Hillary's story is that Ms. Lamb, a state department official, testified before Congress that she was on the phone, that means in REAL TIME with the consulate during the attack! Now how do you get around that? YOU WERE ON THE PHONE WITH THE EMBASSY DURING THE ATTACK! NOW BACK PEDAL THAT! Yes, I watched the whole six hours of testimony. This is such a cover up! obama is at the helm, it's his SHIP! HE'S TO BLAME NOT HILLARY, NOT THE STATE DEPT., NOT THE MILITARY. Remember this is his cabinet he put in place. barack hussein obama IS TO BLAME! This is shameful.

WHAT DID WE EXPECT? HONESTY,MORALITY,PRINCIPLES??
