There is a school of thought that is gaining widespread acceptance that your county Sheriff is the supreme law within his/her jurisdiction. And among traditional powers, also has the authority to impede federal agents' attack on local citizens. An interesting concept, and one that is gaining some traction.

It seems like several states won't be enforcing Barry's potential executive proclamations. Can you imagine FBI & ATF trying to do traffic stops in an attempt to enforce this nonsense.

The states that will enforce it are the ones that have tight gun laws (that don't help), much like Connecticut.

I beleive that many police and sheriff's offices in the western states won't enforce these new regulations. Why? Because those officers took an oath to support and defend the consitution. Any new confiscation statutes are clearly in violation of the 2nd amendment. I would hate to see it, but this is quickly becoming an issue that may fan the flames of a second revolution. We seem not to learn from history. What next? How about we require gun owners wear a yellow star on their clothes, right, thats already been done. Let's ask the European Jews how that turned out, oh' wait, we can't......Now do you get it!

Nope, they should uphold their oaths. Including the part about defending the Constitution, all of it.

catron county new mexico passed a gun law years ago. the law states every house hold must have one . its worked very well through the years .. so since we have already inacted our own gun law years ago ,, we dont need any federal laws about guns..
