"If we didn’t know it, we suspected many of you didn’t, either. And that’s what we do: inform."
So very journalistically noble. So medium-correct in its arrogance. How can this be? How can just anyone jump through a few small hoops and participate in something we don't understand and, consequently, utterly abhor? AK-47! My word, just the sound of whatever it is makes our skin crawl. I know it's scary looking and it's scary sounding and people's only purpose to have it must not be noble, but sinister if not absolutely reckless. An UZI!?! What is an awful machine of death like this doing in the hands of the unintelligent "them", "they", "those". Those people are so narrow minded. Don't they understand the bigger picture? Don't they get it? Who needs ten bullets to kill a deer? They misinterpret ill-conceived and antiquated ramblings of wig-donned racist idiots of yore. Those people, them, they are ignorant to rational, informed, cultured thought. They are the cogs in the broken wheel of progress and academic intellect. We are the ones that really get it. We are informed. We are educated. We are cultured. We have been told so and made to believe that we possess special intellect reserved for those few who agree. Scholars and mind-shapers in our righteous world enlightened us to see things on a greater scale, a bigger picture. A better world where equality of outcome shatters old archaic notions of equity of opportunity. Where everyone can be as good and bright and informed as we are. We will drink from the cup of truth from our sources of great knowledge and the givers shall be glad. We are each others' and each our teachers, our givers and our gods. Anyone who doesn't see our truth only needs to be informed. We must not allow injustices of truth and infidelities of our reality cloud people's thoughts. It must be our purpose to inform. To ensure the full weight of our accepted truths are brought to bear on the weak of mind. Those. Them. They. If they could only realize that what we give is best for them. Instead, they think and act primitively and stupidly without thought or consideration to what harm it may bring. If only the would stop thinking like them and be more like us. The informed. The intelligent. The righteous. The givers of life's answers. Fools. What a burden it must be for them to be in the dark about these lofty notions of equality, justice and fidelity.
