Kind of an interesting dichotomy between the performer and the man.
Reminds me a little of James Taylor (songs about the common man written by one that attended boarding school).
But that's no knock on them - two of the best living performers out there!

And Buffett earned every dime by being a superb performer who gives the fans their money's worth every show. He's smart, he works hard, and that's the key to success.

Jimmy Buffet has made alot of his money by puting others out of buisiness. He forced a restaurant in Canton to change it's name, even though, they held this name before he wrote one of his songs...Margherittaville.

Does not sound like someone who I would pay to go see or even listen to on the radio.

Oh and by the way, he has done this numerous times to people across the country.

I like his music, but his concert prices are far too much to pay to see anyone!! I guess he only cares about fans that can afford to be fans!

That restaurant in Canton served dog food. It deserved a name change…………maybe something like “Margherittadouche”.
