I assure Jimmy buffett is in business to make money. We all are, and his lawyer should know it before blurting out such a stupid statement.

If he was so interested in the money, then why not ask for monetary damages stupid?

I liked Jimmy better when he was a Beach Boy. Did he get parole from the time he was caught with the young boy?

Go Jimmy!!! You are awesome and I KNOW you will rock the house tonight!!! PS - while everyone is out to make money, he has so much he doesn't even need to anymore and certainly not by overcharging his fans!!!

Buffet is a stinkin liberal and like all rich liberals he tries to portray himself as a simple common man rather than a successful businessman. Any rich person who says they not in it for the money is a hypocrite and a liar. If he truly didn't care about money, he would tell this guy he can sell his stuff but a big portion of his profits would need to go to charity.

I was a fan of Jimmy's in the '70s and '80s when his heart and soul were in his music. He lost me as a fan when he became a sell out in the late '80s. He is the ultimate self-promoting merchandiser. For his attorney to make such a statement is ludicrous.

I agree wholeheartedly. Like his cousin Warren, Jimmy is in it for the money now and has been for a long time. I took friends to a concert at Office Depot Center when it was NCR a few years ago. Three sections including ours had no sound or what we had was like watching a "Peanuts" tv special and listening to the teacher. 200 fans at $75 plus complaining and all they could do was have us walk up to the rafter lounge and stand. My wife is handicapped(not just by me. His roadies could not be bothered with a sound check. I contacted every source I could after the concert thinking he was "for the fans". I have yet to actually make contact with anyone of his reps who give a darn..I gave up after a week and wrote it and him off.

Hey Jimmy, please dis-band the Parrothead Club of the Treasure Coast. It's not you. They should adopt a new name like "The grumpy old tight ass cheap bastards club". It's a freakin drag to attend. Most certainly not Buffett...

Buzbee said. "Jimmy Buffett's not in business to make money, certainly not anymore, and he doesn't appreciate what this guy's been doing."

Why then does he charge me for drinks and food at his restaurant ?

whatever the reason, it is illegal to use a trademarked name to make money. Say what you want about Jimmy Buffett, but remember, and there is no denying he is right to use the courts to stop this scumnag from profiting on his name. GO GET HIM JIMMY

Last time I checked, the US was a Free Market Economy...By all rights, I can sell Jimmy Buffet Merchandise for whatever price I want to...Its up to the consumer to pay for it...

I don't know why Buffet would even pursue this...Maybe he needs a better dealer because this isn't what I expected from him...
