Was "Seinfeld" (1989-1998) as informative and monumental to the modern era of entertainment as was "The Andy Griffith Show" (1960-1968)?

In many ways, yes.

Jerry Seinfeld is a smart man. If you happen to be showing your kids a re-run episode of "The Andy Griffith Show" or "The Beverly Hillbillies" for education purposes, try pairing this experience with a showing of "Ghost in the Shell" (Atsuko Tanaka - 1995) "Bee Movie" (Jerry Seinfeld - 2007).
