Recently, during one of the many tiresome national TV postmortems about how Republicans could come back to life, someone predicted that, in the fall, Jeb Bush and a couple of other has-beens would emerge as the party's sane spokespeople, replacing all the kooks who have now taken center stage.

Everything Goldstein writes is misleading. This guy can't kick his Bush Derangement Syndrome. At least during the wonder years of Bush we had jobs.

So this writer is whining that people use the comment area in an article to voice their opinion? Of course idiots get on here and say stupid things, but there are a lot of thoughtful conversations that take place on these threads. What's the matter? Did you get your feelings hurt? Freedom of Speech, remember? Let a writer of this or any other paper have someone tell them what they can and can't say and the lawsuits will follow.
Here's an idea for the writer. Write something that people can believe. People are tired of hearing how the government is 'going to make it better' whilst running the whole show into the ground.
