This is what the council works on? Bravo Szakos "Are they under? Can they be under?" Are you kidding? Can you be kidding?

Good grief.

What about the noise regularly coming from city council? I'd say their limit ought to be 2 decibels. I'm just sad that any business feels it necessary to be located within the jurisdiction of these bananas.

Did the city provide the songs to listen to and if so, were they downloaded legally?

"City council participated in a sound test to see if the Black Market Moto Saloon is the culprit behind noise complaints in the Woolen Mills Neighborhood."

Here's a thought: When the noise complaints come in, see if it sounds like live music being played in a nearby establishment or not. I guarantee you it doesn't take a rocket scientist to track down the origin of the noise.

Perhaps City Council will appropriate another $100k for a trial "Noise Ordinance Commission".

For all the anti city council comments...keep in mind that this is what you get with "big government" & you are seeing it all the way up to the national level...it's BS. We need a balanced city government..NOW! I know that Matteus has gone out of his way to be in line with the "rules & regulations" but the city keeps moving the goal line back another 5 yards..BS! Maybe it's time for a mass protest on this one in order to help him out!

This is a legitimate question: Can anyone actually name something, anything, of significance the City Council has done, say, in the last 6 months?

Only serious comments please. I truly don't know what they actually do other than being a formality.

They are over sensitive on issues they want to be on. For issues they want, it's a done deal and they are not sensitive about it. It is THEIR way or no way!

I believe the loud, foul music coming from some cars in town are louder than their music. I can barely hear others talk in the car I am in and I am vibrating in my seat. Why are these drivers notbeing harassed? I would think this music is was over the decibel limit? And why do they want to keep on trying new points to test the music, it was tested by police and passed, end of story.
