That must have been amazing! We were there for the 3rd and it was very special to me. It was my 50th time to see JT ! Seeing him at Tanglewood was so appropriate. because we've always heard that is his favorite place to play! Now I wish we had been there on the 4th too! JT has been my inspiration and part of my life since I was 14. I turned 53 at Fenway.I won the trip to Boston from my work in Chicago and did a lot of things on "my wish list". As an 11 year breast cancer survivor, I have always dreamed about going to Tanglewood to see JT, Martha's Vineyard and Fenway. But to have been there on the 4th...JT, Carole King and Paul McCartney(on film) are my 3 inspirational people. I had breast cancer the same time as Linda McCartney. We wereboth supposed to be spokespersons for the Komen race in Chicago in 1997...she metasized and they thought she would make it the following year, but she did not. They had called me to tell me that we would be in the podium together and later that eek, they told me Paul would be there with us too as he was promoting a new CD also. I was so excited..but as the consequences unfortunatly happened..it never happened. I walk in honor of Linda and celebrate that I am still alive in every breast cancer walk that I can.
On james-tayloronline, there is a paragraph in the Pioneer Press review ifrom the Ravinia concert on June 6, but from the June 7th concert at ravinia.org in the blogs...There is a huge story about me...Just wanted to share.
I now understand why security would not let me go to the stage to give him flowers. I have at 42 of the 50 concerts..when JT shakes my hand as I give him the lillies, it recharges my battery for another year. 3 times in one year is supercharged,,,but being at Tanglewood was like being supercharged. You could feel the positiveness for JT all over Tanglewood.
We also got to reacquaint with an old friend (and her family), who lives in the Berkshires and moved from Chicago 39 years ago. We had lost touch and got to experience Tanglewood in the rain together. It was very special.
Thank you for letting me share,
Paula Hootman

I was not escorted out of there. They would not let me give him flowers at the stage. I sat in my seat.I gave him the flowers at intermission. This was my first time to Tanglewood.

Paula, if you want to visit JT in person and give him your flowers, just wander on over to the far end of New Lenox Road in the Town of Washington (just over the Lenox line).
While you're there, ask ol' JT why he won't volunteer his oh-so-valuable time to help entertain US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan on a USO tour.
I sure hope this fellow is worth all the adulation you give him because he seems like just one more self-absorbed, self-centered "healing" drug addict, of the kind that the Berkshires already seems to have aplenty.

Ms. Hoofman is absorbed in her own angst, so it seems that Taylor is her anchor of sorts, I guess, so that she'll live to be one hundred, but what happens when Jimmy is gone, Ms. Hoofman, maybe you'll turn to a Higher Power and get a real life, HERES HOPING YOU DO.

I guess you never had someone that you admire and makes you feel positive. I listen to him all day long while I am in between sales calls. It is feel good music. I hope he lives for a very long time and hopefully keeps going on tour.People who know me understand and do not prejudge.

Paula. Personally, I have nothing against JT. Professionally, well... no thanks. But I have seen him 100 times at Guido's. Tall. Bald. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Did anyone hear the recent Stern interview w-Ben and Carly? Classic.

So Amandavives, do you think Carly kicked him out, or do you think JT left her?
I saw Carly on CNBC getting interviewed by Michael Eisner and she was looking just like JT -- a wee bit beyond prime.

I've known Paula more than half my life and she is definitely not crazy, yes she has an obsession with JT, and his music, however this is a healthy inspiration for her, which allows her to continue to lead an extremely positive life. She is a happy, outgoing, warm and caring person and I'm glad to call her my friend.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Scorpio

If you've been surrounded by people during the past few days you welcome the chance to have some time to yourself today. It's a wonderful excuse to do something really indulgent in private, such as scoff a whole box of chocolates while watching a favourite film on TV. But make sure you destroy all the evidence before everyone else comes home!
