He campaigned in the primary to repeal health care. I guess he will stick to the Republican plan. Right now the Republicans are filibustering to stop unemployment extension by the feds. They claim that all the people drawing unemployment are just drunks that need to sober up and get a job. They want the extension paid for,but they don't want to pay for the Bush tax cut for income more than $250,000.00 that will expire The tax cut cost six hundred million, and the extension cost thirty million. I guess we know where their heart is. There is one Republican running for I think Governor of a central northern state. He want's to make minimum wage in that state $2.16 an hour for waitresses. I think this is an early indication of what the Republican Party wants to do. They always whine like little girls when anybody wants to raise minimum wage. Their plan is to make it 1970's minimum wage nationwide. And they want to repeal the bill not even signed by the President to reform banks and Wall St. We are cutting off our nose to spite our face if we vote the Bush guys back in.
