Why do rap stars get in trouble with the law more than other kinds of stars? Can someone give me a reason? If they're not shooting each other, they're assaulting patrons in clubs (or rather, getting their gorillas to do it for them), driving around with no insurance and guns in the car and generally doing stupid sh*t that gets people killed or starts deadly feuds and the like.

So - if there is no connection between hip hop and crime as we are continually told by its defenders, then how come so many rappers are in jail, have been in jail, or have been murdered?

Let's not kid ourselves. For every Britney Spears there's 100 Remy Ma's. You cannot seriously be suggesting that hip hop stars aren't involved in serious crimes like MURDER many, many times more than other types of celebs. How many gospel singers you seen picked up for firearms offenses recently? What about blues guitarists? Jeez, even the worst days of heavy metal seem pale in comparison to the carnival of violence that has been the rap scene over the past 20 years.

You idiots just have no objective sense of value judgment whatsoever. There is no form of music with as much associated violence, death and crime as rap music. Pointing out isolated cases of non-rapper drug addicts does not change this fact. I could care less what the loser Doherty pumps into himself. What they're not doing is shooting and killing each other. What really amazes me about the ghetto mentality is that these idiots truly see no difference between minor misdemeanors and stabbings, shootings etc. To you idiots, it's all one and the same. Driving without a license or taking heroin in the privacy of your own home is no better than stabbing someone or shooting them dead. Well, with stupidity like this, it's no wonder the ghettos are like war-zones. People can't even tell the difference between right and wrong.

Why? It's as if you think that the thug violence which happens in the world of rap "represents" black people. If it does, if all black people are supportive of violent thug culture and the rap music that glorifies it, then I am a racist.

Since I know that rap music does not represent black people, then I am not a racist. I suggest you take a minute to sit down and consider your own views of black people before you accuse others of being bigots.
