Meet Portsmouth rock band Sekshun 8

Loading... Sekshun 8 is a hard rocking band out of Portsmouth. Its members former classmates at Woodrow Wilson High School are brothers Jason Tippins, lead vocals, and Jeff Tippins, drums, and Eric Briggs on bass and Jimmy Muhlenbruch on guitar.

Gooneygoogoo must of never seen their show like I have. The character is John, not Eddie. He doesnt breath fire and is not dressed as a demon. He is in a white straight jacket performing as a crazy guy escaped from a mental ward. Great show! So what show did you see Gooneygoogoo? Maybe watching too many late night TV shows?

They stole this act from the 80's skateband Suicidal Tendencies. I think they all died in a plane crash or something and that's how these guys can get away with recycling some of these ideas.

Cliff Clow hopefully got rid of the combover he had in highschool. Hard to see with that thing.

No one is pushing"THIS MUSIC"on you.I have listened to Iron Maiden for 25 years and I really enjoy their music,just because you hear 666 doesnt mean they are devil worshipers.Its only a song,Eddie is a character he isnt real ok,maybe you have never sit down and really listen to their music.When I went to school years ago people use to say the same thing about AC/DC.And everything Iron Maiden sings about isnt all about 666,they have a whole lot of different things they sing about,so wise up...

Wasted Years? This sounds like the typical youth battle against drugs and alcohol. These long haired guys all smoke pot and glamorize the drug scene. They even eat bat's heads and sing about suicide and the devil. They encourage the youth to succumb to drug addiction and then suicide. The songs they sing are all about violence. They also sing about shooting people with muskets and "running them through". Savages!!

I think there is a reason why noone listens to the Iron Maidens.

The cliffclow moniker is proof of the hard drugging youth that follow these bands.I remember this kid had mad zits and acne in school and now I bet he is lookung for payback. Devil worship, small animal rape and firestarting are also other deviant secrets these "metalheads" subscribe to. They wear lots of wigs and makeup. They also wear costumes to help conceal their identity. Just look at the band Twisted Sisters or Rat.

I have also heard "metal up your a**" as some type of uniting quote they use to identify themselves.

these guys are freakin' delirious i went to a battle of the bands once and they played, i dont even know what to say. their last song in their set, they all came out in with jump suits and then one dude came out in a straight jacket and this crazy mask, which i think is like their logo, and this dude was walking all over the stage being super creapy and all. this bands not only satanic, their a bunch of 40-something losers. one of the dudes mom was at the show. and when they finished playing, me and all my friends where thinking "get me some Jesus music right now"

These battle of the bands competitions usualy involve high school kids. Cliff, these subversive messages sent to kids by your band are not satisfactory.

It isn't hard to play this type of music. Recently, I took this challenge proposed by these deviant rockers. I am certainly am no musician but I was able to sucessfuly play on my harmonica a few of these "doper" worship songs including...

Suicide Solution by Ozzy Ozzbourne,Sanitarium by Metallica,Beyond the black by Metal church and A tout le Monde by Megadeath and others.

This is very dark music and these kids are certainly being mislead into suicide,death and heavy drugging. They should be in church.

Now you know I am real as I have penetrated this disturbing underground.

You're right, they're satanic. I've known them for years and yeah, you're right they are outright satanic. Why, I've even seen them having satanic rituals at the dinner table. I seem to remember watching them haning up pentagrams on their front doors instead of wreaths at Christmas. In fact, I just remembered that they had a yard sale selling the animal carcasses left over from the month's of sacrificial rites held in the parking lot of the local Wal Mart. Fact is if you don't like Sekshun 8 you're entitled to not like them. But throwing out complete fabrications of the truth shows your lack of intelligence or ability to see entertainment for what it is. One of the guys had his mother show up to a show? So what? That's what good parents do. They like to be involved in the lives of their children no matter what. And as far as being 40 somethings, you're wrong yet again. Gooney Googoo, since you want to point out ages, I'd like to point out yours. Gooney Googoo is a word used by Eddie Murphy back in the 80's. While I may be a little older, I can assure you the guys in Sekshun 8 are hardly in their 40's. But clearly you are to remember the line from Eddie Murphy's Delirious (yes, I am in my 40's and proud of it). I know the guys in Sekshun 8 and will make sure they read this. By running off at the mouth and making your comments you allow the phrase by the late, great Frank Zappa to truly have teeth, "there's no such thing as bad publicity" and you are giving a band you clearly resent or are totally jealous of publicity. On a side note, congratulations Sekshun 8 on your record deal with Sunset records.

There once was a great organization called P.M.R.C. that was able to corall alot of this irresponsible devil music. These bands are primarily noisemakers that send dangerous messages to the youth. I would suspect a certain amount of pedophilia may exist here due to the target audience....young kids and teens. This scares me as a responsible adult. These guys also have jewish last names and that would lead many to suspect an underlying motive. The FBI should probably be notified.

Add another fan to the Sekshun 8 cult. They are far from satanic, and if they are, well then I'm with Breathless...consider me a devil worshiper. I have seen them several times in concert and they always deliver an exciting show. They are fan friendly and down to earth. Obliviously "Gooney" grew up with parents who didn't let him listen to the good music but instead he had to listen to his mom signing hymms while playing the piano. You don't know enough about good music to comment on this band, cause they ARE good...if they weren't they wouldn't have gotten a deal with a major record label.

So to the guys of Sekshun 8...love you all, your music is great and so is your respect for your fans.

Are the highschool gymnasiums packed with that kind of "underpriveleged does well" sentiment?
When we view the Special Olympics, we tend to adapt the same perspective.
The key difference is these band members are adults where the others are children. Last I checked, Special Olympics holds no heavy metal/devil music band competetions.
Name one legitimate venue that these satanic, devil music gobblers have played?
These guys are also heading for failure due to thier skills or lack thereof.
