Crowley was what ever you wanted him to be.. A beast saint.. A lunatic.. His life is both a cautionary tale and one of being able to be over the top in an age when most would not even discuss somethings in mixed company..

Aleister for all his faults many. Did do one thing right.. He made sure that fools would always see him in the worse light and expose their own stupidity.. Congrats javy for being an fool... Again...

And in spite of this fool.. Aleister himself had no influence over or had anything to do with Wicca..

The article is just another fool making statements with out understanding his own material.

No you're the fool! Constantly proven wrong again and again! Yet you choose to live in this delusional stupor you have created for yourself!

You only kid yourself. You are a follower of Crowley! Just as Gardner was! Just as Valiente was! Evil!

I have seen some very ignorant bible thumpers wander onto this forum; however you have to be the most ignorant one of them all. I saw on the news the other night where your precious book of fairy tales has been re-written again.

Javy you constantly act like a little school girl. The point here is, there's nothing to argue concerning Crowley. Paganism is a very general belief system. This is hard for an indoctrinated christian zealot like yourself to understand, as the guideline for your entire nonsensical belief system has been spelled out for you in a big fairy tale book. Pagans on the other hand, all have a personal belief system that gives them the option to pick and choose those things that work for them. I know that your narrow mind can in now way comprehend this. If Aleister Crowley was bisexual drug addict, then to you, anyone who practices the magic that he helped inspire therefore worships a bisexual drug addict. I could care less who Crowley was and what religions he helped inspire. I worship no god. I worship no people. Worshipping is for fools like you.

A. You're the only one around here that thinks Crowley was 'demonic'. But that's not surprising considering you even think the Cherokee and Jewish Qabbalist are, as well.

B. This is just some random opinion piece with no sources cited for an online publication that does not vet their articles, let alone edit them for grammar.

C. While Thelema and the OTO (the actual religions influenced directly by Crowley) are no more demonic than my left pinky toe, they are not the same religions as Wicca. The similarities between them have been found by real scholars to tie to older, existing sources that students of the occult at that time would've had access to... like um you know, that "demonic" Quabbalah and related texts- like the Soloman keys. So demonic, even the Papacy enjoyed ceremonial magic.

Great post Shine... but here's how Javy's mind interpreted it:

Blah blah blah... demonic.. Thelma and the OTO... demonic... blah blah... Wicca... demonic... "deonic" Quabbalah and related texts.. blah blah blah... Soloman keys. So demonic.... blah blah blah Papacy enjoyed ceremony.

You're right (and funny, too) Clark. He's repeatedly shown to ignore anything beyond a very tiny box of reality. So sad...

However, at the least, if anyone looking for information stumbles on this little convo, at least they will see more than Javy's tiny demon-riddled world-veiw represented.

That article.. An opinion piece that is full of errors and unsupported points..

Only some one from the tinhat brigade would take it that seriously. If a person were to be interested in both Crowley and/or Wicca there much better books around. As well as people that actually know what they are talking about and can back their points.. Which is more than I can say about either this article or you..

Bull.. What links that were Pagan only proved my point.
But then you are a liar any ways so no surprise you continue to ignore reality, truth, and facts.. So lie to yourself like a good little christian fanatic does. Fool.

You must not have read your own links very well, nor the replies that we all made about them back when you posted them. That must be some narrow filter of your.
