Sounds like a good time!

Hardly anything new though, in the world of eccentric academic conferences. The annual Slayage conference revolving around the world of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" has been going on for years, and really is taken quite seriously in the world of academia. Pop culture rules!

Check out Charlie Higson's book SilverFin, copyright Ian FlemingPublications Ltd, a book suited for middle schoolers. There is an illustration in the back of Young Bond at Eton.

rubbish.

i can't say enough bad things about the pictographic summary accompanying this piece.(the lack of a byline might temporarily save some writer's reputation.)

it says the brosnan movies returned the franchise to its prominence. it compares the dalton movies to "die hard" and "lethal weapon."

that's completely backwards. the brosnan pictures were far too concerned with pyrotechnics. the dalton movies were two of the best.

and the moore movies were far from silly. i suggest the silliest were the films in which SPECTRE was the collective villian. an organization of wealthy uber-villians bent on world domination? c'mon!

that's the lauded connery era, by the way.

^ I agree with Rob, Dalton and the two movies he stared in were the best since Connery stepped away. Dalton played the character as Fleming intended. For God's sake the guys an assassin, I'd be serious too!
