I am an expatriate living and working in Panama. Everyone here was excited about the "Bond" movie shooting here. However, they did a quick makeover on an old building in the old part of the city, came to shoot for a couple of days and were gone.

So much for high expectations! The scenes in Panama were in Casco Antiguo which is where the rebuilt the city after Morgan the Pirate burned down the old one in 1671. Here is a current reference for Casco Antiguo, or San Felipe.
