Mtukudzi set for Channel O honour

There are 1 comment on the New Zimbabwe story from Sep 1, 2007, titled Mtukudzi set for Channel O honour. In it, New Zimbabwe reports that:

“In awarding Oliver Mtukudzi the Channel O Spirit of Africa Music Video Awards Special Recognition Awards, Channel O pays homage to this child of African soil and recognises his contribution to African music and mankind.”

Last year saw South African kwaito star and youth culture icon, Zola, honoured while the world-famous jazz maestro Hugh Masekela received the accolade in 2005. via New Zimbabwe

Would like to know what criteria is used to select music played, it seems channel O is becoming more & more RSA biased, if so then why are we paying to watch mostly RSA music video’s not that I don’t like SA music I love it! But there is no balance.

If not can u see the imbalance?
