I LOVE this man, his music and his acting. And I LOVE what he says in the last paragraph of this interview so much! Makes me very happy!:)

Looking forward to seeing the PBS special on September 30th.
This blues CD seems to be a kind of labor of love for Hugh Laurie, a love for the blues genre and for those who perform it. He is not a blues singer, but he certainly puts his heart and passion into each song, and he is a tremendously talented musician. My favorite songs in it include The Whale Has Swallowed Me, Swanee River, and the title song Let Them Talk. Also, the song Since You've Been Gone, in which he accompanied Dr. John's vocal rendition on the piano, is a particularly nice experience to hear.
Understand that this CD debuted at #1 on Billboard's Blues Album Chart, and at #16 on its Hot 100 Album chart. Looks like Hugh Laurie's passion for excellence, and his professional perfectionism, have done their work on him again.
