I hope they don't donate anything to the Nashville Hicks. God sent them a message and we must not interfear. Let the T Bagging state fend for themselves.

I thought it was $45 (the cheapest one) for all 3!! Was Vanilla Ice booked for the weekend? But then again, I guess it is an equally shared awkward situation when they hire such groups; people in El Paso say "WHO?" and the groups that get hired for a gig in El Paso say "WHERE?"

That's a good point but I'm willing to brave it myself because there is always some seriously hot tail at those things. I'll take a bullet or two if it means scoring with those big booty babes.
Better get your hepitits ABCDEF and possibly G shots...

Ohhh wow. I am almost speechless. Then again, your dumb and useless comment reminded me of a movie, so here it goes..."I know you are but what am I?"

Whatever happened to my Rock n Roll ????!!!!
(which also happens to be the title of a song by BRMC...a band that KLAQ would never play due to their narrow-minded playlist and mainstream choice catering).

EP is indeed stuck in many aspects and especially stagnant when it comes to music, at least in rock.
Now the Barn is mostly Nortenyo this or Banda that shows. Long gone are the epic years (75-85) when it hosted the best of what the rock genre had to offer. Bon Scott was there, so was Phil Lynott, Randy Rhoads, Rush, UFO, Priest, Tull, Bad Co., Deep Purple, BOC...heck, even the B-52's....and the list goes on.
(Btw, the local rock radio station is part to blame for perpetuating the stagnant mentality, playing the same songs all the time. Sure, they may sprinkle a few "new artists" efforts here and there to make it appear like they are breaking ground, but most of them are "screamo" type bands...followed by "Two Tickets to Paradise" by Eddie Money. AOR it is certainly not).

I try to understand why is that EP always seems to follow trends, influences and streams.....2-3 years behind schedule and after the fact. Is geography to blame? Demographics? Why do a lot of people there simply not interested in being exposed to new stuff?

Great big news 3 concerts, and no one heard of any of them. I guess black and brown will be happy. They should do ICE checks there. Or mayby they can serve fried chicken tacos. Actually that sounds good
