With Puerto Rico's Democratic primary approaching, Sen. Barack Obama may begin to face questions about two of his biggest supporters on the island. Governor Anibal Acevedo Vila, a co-chair of Obama's campaign in Puerto Rico was indicted by Federal prosecutors along with 12 others on March 27th in what prosecutors called the largest government corruption scandal in Puerto Rico's history. Vila was charged with receiving cash and gifts in the form of expensive suits, vacations for his family and children, and personal contributions to enhance his salary. Vila also is alleged to have had his credit card bills paid by private companies and his campaign debts paid by Puerto Rican business interests. Vila also stands accused of steering contracts to his fundraisers, based in Philadelphia. In all, the so-called "Philadelphia connection" netted $180,000 for Vila's 2004 gubernatorial campaign.

On paper Obama seems to have a lock on the nomination. I think it is significant to note all of the middle aged female Clinton supporters are bemoaning the fact that the most viable woman candidate in history is on the verge of going down into defeat. And it is ironic that the most viable woman candidate in history for the US Presidency is getting her @$$ handed to her by a mullatoe Negro candidate for President. However, Hillary just may have a hidden nuke she may drop on Obama if it is certain she is going to lose. Obama's record directing state $$$contract$$$ to his cronies doesn't pass the smell test and just may be what ruins his chances of getting the nomination at the last minute. Hillary is the type that would and will do anything to win. She has something up her sleeve. She is not going away graciously.

Even though U.S military spending already totals more than all the military budgets of all the other countries in the world combined, Obama insists that Bush’s military spending spree of recent years has somehow not been enough.

Indeed, Obama has promised to enlarge the size of the uniformed armed forces by more than 92,000 troops. Given that the United States – surrounded by two oceans and two weak friendly neighbors – is essentially safe from any potential conventional attack, this position inevitably raises the question of what he intends to do with that expanded military capability.

In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, "with a first-class [Arabic] accent."
The opening lines of the Adhan (Azaan) is the Shahada:

OBTW, perhaps by making Hussein Obama the nominee it's the Democratic Party's way of not having to clean up George Bush's mess.
